NORTH A Gift By Sharon D. Hunsicker
Silver dusted moon and lavender hills Soft Nightingale song and Mockingbird trills Misty moonbeams haunting shadows of night And ricocheting off lakes of glassy white
Snails threading the earth with shimmering trail Red fox conduct night’s song with white-tipped tail Trees within their branches wear spider laces Moon flowers glow with dazzling faces
Tiny mice dance and clandestinely meet With crickets and katydids at their feet Earth musky perfumes stirred by a sweet breeze So full and fragrant, sent upon wheat seas
And here I stand alone and in awe Thanking God at my feet He laid it all

SOUTH
Past the Sunset By Tom Henry
Wandering through life toward sunset of days; having many setbacks and joy delays. Knowing that soon all heartaches will be past, if I can just endure and hold fast--
to what I believe and know in my heart. I will be with you Lord, when from here I depart. Heartaches to the left, headaches to the right; I just have to make it through this night.
On the far side of midnight, is a glorious, bright light. When I leave behind this pain and take flight, to that city over there, so beautiful and bright.
The tears, pain, sadness behind and all the words spoken, so unkind. To enter into the gate and LORD, you I meet, and walk with you along the golden street--
or by the Crystal River, so fair. There is nothing here to compare to the joy with you I'll share -- just past the sunset, to that City Four Square.

Reflecting His Mercy Joint effort in fun by Tom and Sharon
From the highest mountain to the lowest valley The inner city to the darkest alley From the deep blue sea to the shallow stream The farthest star and all between
In the waking hours and our pleasant dreams The love of God shines and gleams It shimmers as a diamond caught in the sun Reflecting His mercy upon everyone
His desire for all people here below Is for us to fully understand and know So it is; He calls for us His Word to read Love letter, manual and salvation's seed
Having His spirit deep within Giving us strength not to sin Walking His narrow path, Never to see His wrath
To be a light for all we see Showing them, we can be free To claim everlasting life Free of hardship and strife
Being that light day by day Pointing to the only true way, Salvation through Christ the king. Let His Word forever ring!

Same Title- their own poem:
The Golden Leaves of Autumn By Sharon D. Hunsicker
My autumn of life is now at hand In the third season of life I stand. Life dances on the leaves of time; Seasons in reason and rhyme
Spring, newly born, gentle and innocent Delivery of God Spring; sapling goes forth, buds anew~ Crying babe; fresh as morning dew Tiny bloom in the scheme of life~ Free of trouble, worry and tremendous strife Most precious of seasons
Summer, inquisitive, awakened and fresh Learning with God Summer; the unfolding sharp and green~ Life takes full flight in adventures unseen. Schooling to learn, families to birth~ Life in prime gauging her worth; Most tender of the Seasons
Autumn, laidback, observant and sagacious Dancing with God The Golden Leaves of Autumn clear~ I see held tight of many as being dear. Now are the days life’s leaves are golden Vibrant in color in full appreciation beholden The Golden Leaves of Autumn
We are free to dance the winds of succession Living in experience of life lessons Free to dance even with life askew~ Mingling with others showing now their color true Autumn weaves her golden color
Ah, dressed in wisdom yet not in vanity Wondering if I, at long last, lost all sanity The Golden Leaves of Autumn I waltz in dance~ Until the quiet days of winter come to me to romance The most Beautiful of all seasons
Winter, wizened, sheltered and tired Studying with God Winter; the realization heaven means home You revel in quiet walks as in tender poem Enjoying life but wishing it was over Just to start life all anew – this time In eternity in the Golden Leaves Autumn Dancing with God Loving so: The Golden Leaves of Autumn Above all other seasons

The Golden Leaves of Autumn By Tom Henry
The golden leaves of autumn are quite a sight to see; when all summer they were green on that big oak tree. As I wander through the woods with beauty all around and the acorns from the tree have fallen to the ground;
the golden leaves of autumn, blowing in the breeze. A few floating down with gentle perfect ease landing with the others at the bottom of the tree. All of this wondrous beauty, I enjoy for free.
As I walk down the lane among the Maple, Oak and Pine I thank you Father for the beauty and the warm sunshine. Deep within my heart there's peace and joy knowing because of my Heavenly Father, I am able to keep going.
Until, like them, the golden leaves of autumn from this time and place, a memory I'll become. Then walk by the streams and golden leaves up there and realize at last, it's the answer to my prayer.
I’ll wait beside the stream for my family and my friends Please, believe in the Lord, your soul he will cleanse. When you walk thru the golden leaves and down the lane over there, my friends and loved ones, we'll meet again.
