From Chapter One, “Touched By God”
What is your life like on earth after the LORD, GOD of heaven and earth ascends you into the spiritual realm manifesting Himself to you (like a John experience)? What is it like Living on earth after the Creator of the world comes into your heart and turn your life around--sometimes knocking you to the ground (like a Paul experience)? What is your life like after the great God of the universe introduces Himself to you by touching you supernaturally with His power? How exactly is your life different, or Can it continues to remain the same?
I doubt seriously if you’ll ever be the same, because once the Master touches you, or come in contact with you, your life is forever changed. You can no longer question His existence and neither will you be able to deny His power or presence. The Almighty Invisible Supreme Being touching you--making Himself known to you is an encounter, or experience you cannot explain, but will forever retain…for it’s your spiritual birthday; the day that parent meets child--a once in a life time experience!
God finds you as a lost baby wondering in the dark groping for Him. You not knowing He is the ultimate Parent your heart seeks. He finds you and slowly, but surely weans you from the breast of this dark world of sin. He constantly draws you from the darkness into His marvelous light; which is what your soul long and thirst for, but you are too drunk from the sins of this cold, dark confused world to realize that it is He and His love your souls seek and long for. It’s your last day of groping in the dark….
From Chapter Ten, “Sin Runs Like Diarrhea”
Early one morning God awakened me with these words resounding clearly in my ears, “Sin runs like diarrhea.” I sat up in bed as it took a minute for the understanding of what I heard to surface to the front of my mind. I then realized God had let me know the loud, roaring condition the world is in when it comes to sin. Sin is so abounding in the world today that God has compared it to that awful and horrible condition called--diarrhea. Once that condition become roaring, it is almost impossible to control, for it controls you by keeping you ripping and running to the bathroom. If the flow of runny stool is not immediately stopped, it can make you weak and fragile, finally causing your body to become dehydrated. As I thought further about the word diarrhea, I thought about the word excess; and excess means, overload, surplus or extra. In other words, there is an abundance or great quantity of something; and in this case that something is SIN.
God impressed upon me that morning that there is a wealth of sin flourishing all over the world: Sin is prospering so in the minds and hearts of the people’s that their very lives are confused and out of control. Sin is so abundance and widespread and running rampant in the lives of many of our love ones, family members, friends, co-workers, and even in the lives of many of God’s children. When God said “Sin runs like diarrhea,” He called my attention to the condition of the hearts of the people. It’s the sins of the heart that has people’s spirits in disorder and their minds in confusion. Sin keeps people running to and fro in excess, trying to find rest for their weary souls and healing for the pain in their hearts. People are looking and searching for relief in all the wrong places and in doing all the wrong things. Yet, they are expecting the right out come….
