NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE SOUL
So then, the object is not to increase your faith so that whatever you ask will happen, it is to know your own heart so that what you ask, you can believe in. If you ask for something you really don't want, but only think you are suppose to want, how can you believe? You can't. If you ask God for something, with this conflict inside of you, no matter how hard you force yourself to fight the doubt, that doubt is probably your own heart trying to tell you that you really don't want it. If you really don't want it, then you really don't desire it, it will never happen. So then, how can one know one's own heart? You go on a spirit quest, a heart quest, which is ultimately the power quest!
How can God attach so much power to these verses, and tell us all we have to do is believe and have faith? With such awesome power as to bind or loose things in heaven, how are we held back from whimsically and arbitrarily throwing around this power? Telling us with such a cliche as "all things are possible". What will hold us back from making all sorts of mistakes?
If all things are truly possible and only one man can be elected president for a four-year term, what if several Christians wanted to be president and tried to access this power? How could it be possible for each to receive what they are trying to get? These powerful verses have many problems for everyone. Problems for those who accept them at face value and for those who don't. Those who accept them at face value must also accept that they do not have them working in their life as strongly as stated in the verses themselves. They have to accept that they do not have enough faith to work them. Problems also arise for those who have tried and ended up having to consider themselves as wanting something that was not the will of God. Problems also for those who want to believe but stay away from these verses. Problems for those who completely disenfranchise these verses as not part of the Bible at all.
These verses become a cutting edge in your life! These verses become a challenge! The difference between these verses and the entire rest of the Bible is that these verses are for those who move out to go into the land and take what God is giving them! These verses are singled out as "different", and indeed they are. One still has the unlimited access of learning from God and God moving within their life, performing miracles! But these power verses speak of doing something, and the thing to do is to go into the land and take what is in front of you! In order to take the land that God has given you, you need power like these verses! So then how does the safeguard work? How do we get around it? How do these verses merge into a life with God?

If you lack wisdom and understanding on anything, ask God to show you, and then sit back and wait for the ride, and very often the ride of your life. Because wisdom and understanding does not come by book or head knowledge. It comes by revelation and experience. Revelation is an enlightenment, a discovery, it is when you "come on to" the truth. Experiencing places it where you live, where you really know what you are talking about, because you've been there. If you haven't been there, you can't know what it is like. With whatever you ask God to show you, you will go there! He will arrange it, and you will come to know your answer by experiencing your answer. You will come to know your answer intimately.

Identity is the father's job; he must give it to the son and to the daughter alike. This concept along with so many others has been almost completely modernized away. No longer do the fathers of this modern age have a sense of what an awesome responsibility they have laid upon them due to their position as "Father". They have the child's whole future in their hands. They have the power to make or break a child for life. Whatever the father does will last in the child for the rest of that child's life. Be it good or bad, when that child is 95 years old he or she will still be affected by what their father did to them. The father holds the future of the child in his hands, and likewise the "Fathers" hold the future of the "nation" and the "world" in their hands.
If you have a father that did not understand the concept, or was derelict in his duty of establishing in you a sense of identity, then you are pretty much out of luck. Unless he has a moment of deep revelation in understanding the concept, you probably will never get what you need from him. There is absolutely no use in seeking something from someone who is unable to give it to you. More than likely they are unable to give because it was not given to them. Their father was probably derelict in the responsibility to them because in turn, their father was also. Very often the loss can go way back into generations, and your father will pass away leaving you lacking in a sense of "who" you are.
