Chapter I Choice JUST ONE MORE! Just one more. One more nickel, One more dime. Just one more. One more kiss, One more time.
All it takes is just one more. To fill this empty fulminating sore. It was said, twice before, But all it takes is just one more. You did it once. Do it again! And then again until you reach ten. And it would be such a bore, When you reach ten Not to do 'Just One More'. Just one more, Pinch of salt. Just one more Step, instead of halt. Why are we such a rebellious crowd? Why do we clamor wrong and loud?
"Just one more!" "Just one more!" We'll not settle for less than 'Just One More!" When 'One More' is finally given you, then. You're back asking for 'Just One More' Again.
Just One More, One more lie, One more tale.
Just One More, One more shot, One more ale. If you continue to ask for 'Just One More', You'll soon become consumed by the Fulminating sore, That could not be content until you had.... "Just One More!" By Author July 4, 1996

Try to give an alcoholic enough liquor; or a chain smoker enough cigarets; or a millionaire enough money. Try giving an addict enough heroin, cocain, crack etc. Try to give enough food to satisfy a glutton. There are not ENOUGH of the substances mentioned in the world to satisfy one addicted person. Americans have addictive personalities. We are addicted to pleasure, work, food, drugs - legal and illegal. What is the difference between legal and illegal substance abuse? Answer: A prescription pad. Think about it.
Chapter II TIME Page 27 IT'S ALL GOOD! I watched as he sat there playing his guitar. Every now and then, as if prompted, he'd say, "It's All Good!" Happy music is all you'd hear... then, "It's all good!" Surely he had no cares at all. Life had dealt him a good hand; To be so lucky and care free. He was not dressed as a beggar Nor a homeless. Nor a misfortunate reject. He continued to play and now and then, He'd say... "It's all good!" Smiling Nodding, Waving Recognized by young and old Who purposefully gave him Coins and dollar bills. Every donation received that big smile; Whether large or small. "It's all good!" Day after day the same scene. Smiling. Nodding Waving. Saying "It's all good!" Finally I approached him With a dollar in my hand. This "It's All Good Man." "Tell me why it's all good? I snapped. Throwing the crumpled dollar into his cap. He looked at me and smiled. Nodding his head he sang this song: "I lost my leg in Viet Nam Now, I only wear one shoe. I lost my wife to a man with two.
I lost my Kids to an unfaithful wife, Who, did I mention, was the love of my life. I lost my property to the mortgage man, Who took my home and my land. I lost my clothes and my car. Now all I have is this 'old guitar', With strings missing it's like me. Together we make strangers happy. They toss us whatever is in their hand And call me the "It's All Good Man!" Quietly I walked away What else was there to say? Except..." It's All Good!" By Author October 2000 ********* Keeping our mind on 'things above' can, at times, be difficult; but if we are told to do it.... it must be possible. It is a great exercise in faith to be mindful and set your mind on Godly things when the situation is so contrary to God. "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affections on things above, on things not on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God." COLOSSIANS 3:1-2. "But the end of all things is at hand be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging." IPETER 4:7-9. "Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.: IPETER 4:16. Being a Christian is not easy in our own strength. You may be mocked, made fun of, called all types of names: but when you remember that you are being taunted because of Jesus, the heckling is easier to tolerate. Christians feel as if this place is not their home, indeed it isn't. Jesus himself said, "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again, and receive you unto myself that where I am, there you may be also. John 14: 1-3. __________________ Chapter III Fear SAFE! When they see you go down for the last time, They shake their heads and justify, "I can't swim", I wish I could've...". Just hold to God's unseen hand. The next time they see you, You'll be wet, But on dry land. ********* Chapter V CHANGED MY TURN When it was your turn,
I joyed in the Lord. I clapped my hands, I stomped my feet I sang in one accord. When it was your turn, I laughed, I did not cry. A time to laugh A time to hug, Joyful by your side
But now it's my turn, Oh yes it's my turn. Help me Jesus, To Laugh To Love. It's My Turn! To heal.! To Hug. O yes! It's My Turn!
