Abstract:
When a highly successful Seattle businesswoman – and her alter ego, Poppy – turn their differing talents to solving mysteries, it’s best to stay out of their way. In MURDER EVERY MONDAY, when Allison’s best friend is murdered in front of her eyes and she doesn’t believe the Seattle Police are working hard enough to find the murderer, she tries her hand at it. In the process she meets the married and completely off-limits Detective Sergeant Paul Wendover, and falls in love. In MURDER WITHOUT MOTIVE, Paul tells her about a case that the police are about to give up. Allison doesn’t give up. MURDER IN THE MAUSOLEUM takes place in Roche Harbor, the resort where Allison goes to forget Paul and “have herself a time”. Instead, she ends up accused of murder.
