Abstract:
Dr. Adam McKinnon’s discouraging quest for an Alzheimer’s cure leads him to test an experimental serum on himself. Then, he finds that messages from his brain reach his muscles at accelerated speed -- he can move faster than any human alive. An outrageous bet at a gym lands him a heavyweight sparring partner and Adam, amazingly, wins. He becomes a sensation when at 45 years old he becomes a “professional”, unbeatable in any sport. His dream? Earning millions for research. The dream’s dark side? His fame increases, but so does the physical punishment on his body-- and so do the deadly side effects from the serum.
