Abstract:
COPPA MONTE recounts the migration of Italians from Moiano, Italy, to the area of Susquehanna, Pennsylvania. It concentrates primarily on one family: their life in Italy and their adjustment to America. It is not a “glitzy” account, for the story is historical in nature and covers the period spanning the 1880’s to 1945. Twenty-five million Americans are of Italian ancestry. That is the market for this book. The number of books sold will depend primarily on how many of those 25 million can be made aware of this book.
