Abstract:
The ABC's Of Teaching Life Skills has an activity-based curriculum and is an excellent resource for anyone who facilitates groups that include "building character" programs. It includes 6 categories: Anger Management, Communication, Relationships, Respect, Responsibility, and Self-esteem. Each category has 10 related skills with activities and process questions. This curriculum can be adapted to a variety of settings, such as schools, mental health facilities, day-care centers, church groups, drug programs, or by parents in their home.
