Abstract:
After Michaela was held hostage by rebels and rescued by vigilantes, she entered a violent world of deceits, intrigues, and revenge. Ravished by a rebel, she sought vengeance that she thought could never be achieved. Her vengeance was achieved when the rebel who had become a crime syndicate leader abducted her daughter and she led policemen to his hideout. Days of the Whirlwind, which follows Michaela’s struggles from the jungle to the city, sharing life with three men and rising from rags to riches, is an epic of survival in the crime-infested urban jungle of the Philippines.
