Abstract:
Mick Fallon is working as an investigator for a Detective Agency in Minneapolis owned by Morris Mullins, a retired member of a group of Irish mercenaries doing contract work for the Government. Morris and his friend Jim McGruder formed this group after the Korean War at the request of another Korean Veteran who worked for the National Security Agency. Mick is recruited into the group. The story revolves around his experiences and the group’s Government contact Billy Dancer. Dancer eventually causes the death of a group member, the group’s breakup and his own death at the hands of the group.
