I can only say that this cookbook containing recipes of famous people who were involved in the American Revolution is an absolute delight. Not only are the recipes fascinating and easy to use, they give you a taste of what dishes were actually eaten during that period of our glorious history. And a most interesting bonus is when you can read those interesting tidbits about the person that follow each recipe. An incredible different cookbook, the likes of which I have never before seen.

I especially enjoyed reading the biographical sketckes following each historical recipe. Tried quite a number of these recipes and have not yet been disappointed. They are wonderful. This book would surely make a most exciting Christmas gift for those who already think they have everything.
