Here his friends give him cover. Having him work as a photographer, while working on an arson case. Later his assignment takes him to Libya and India, where he poses as a "tennis bum."

Very good reading of mystery based in England and extending into other countries. Young British agent, looses bride to gun battle and travels for government while recovering from shock of sudden death of his wife
