Abstract:
This book is intended for IT leaders tasked to manage multiple projects. It describes a set of industry-proven processes used to build an effective Program Management Office (PMO) function within a corporate IT setting. Every business that has people performing project management activities has a clear need for these processes. An organization may already have a PMO chartered with responsibility for each project managed in an enterprise. In those rare cases, this book will provide strong validation of their efforts or it will present new techniques and useful approaches that can further improve on their implementation of a PMO.
