Abstract:
“Saints I Have Known and Known About” is a book about twelve selected Christians who have lived outstanding lives beginning with the most well known of all saints, Francis of Assisi. The other eleven biographical sketches are about men and women who have been doctors, missionaries, political leaders, military personnel, and clergy. They are of various nationalities. They have influenced the world in a variety of ways expressing the comprehensiveness of Christianity as it has affected nations and even the world order. They lived in critical times and were a part of the broad historical land-scape.
