Abstract:
Lost Secrets is a book about me and the movies, a collection of my dream films I’d pay to see, and if I had millions I’d write, produce, and direct myself, my films to be found. I am hoping that you, or someone you know, has the finances to produce, the desire to direct, or the insight to share my enthusiasm for these films.

The title, Lost Secrets, is derived from two of the eighteen scripts inside. Rigoberta Menchu said, “we have secrets,” but it appears as if the secrets of her people may be lost to all. A seed idea of my Desiring Women Desiring Men, came after the birth of my son and reading Maria Montessori’s Secrets of Childhood, where she warns parents about the love of children lost in the process of socialization.

My life was a story of films from Snow White with my mother to Sunshine State in New York where I write stories to be seen on the screen. The Taino Murder Mystery, How to Die in Rome, Allensworth, and Desiring Women Desiring Men are all mine. The Frederick Douglass, Beale Street, Jasmine, Rigoberta Menchu, Maya Angelou, and Ernest Hemingway were adapted for use in my classes. The remaining eight are summarized in essay form, awaiting approval and adaptation.
