“The Past is Prologue” …. This is never truer than now for Police Lieutenant Quinton Marks. He is chasing a serial murderer, backwards.

The killer’s spree ended long ago. Now, Marks is drawn into a spiraled past of secrets and lies. Peeling at yesteryear, slowly he is finding that the person he’s after might be just about anyone....

Meanwhile, a whole new series of killings is about to begin.

An urban thriller weaves through then and now, spilling untold truths and scraping haunted pasts. In Cahokia, sleeping dogs don’t lie ….

They live.

Alive, waiting for someone to discover them.

This was a great book. Once I started I was unable to put it down. The author does a good job with character development. I really felt like I knew the characters personally. This book has many twists that will keep you guessing until the very last page.
