Customer Reviews

A Thoroughly Delightful And Imaginative Read , 03/11/2004
Reviewer: Melinda Spencer
For a first effort, this is a magical journey. The writing is fresh, enthusiastic, colorful and gives one a great ride through a mystical world of fantasy. The characters are just that..."characters" that draw you in, much like those in ALICE IN WONDERLAND. The plot is well thought out and the author's mastery of English for children is quite evident, as he leads Charlotte from her home at Mapleshire Manor along the Hidden Path all the way to the Meadow of the Thorn. Your children will appreciate you reading this lighthearted story to them. Or, you could spend an hour or so enjoying this thoroughly delightful and most imaginative flight of fancy. An especially wonderful present for all of your small friends and relatives.
