Abstract:
In this sequel to A Smile Across the Wheat, Papa O'Kelley and his sons are reunited with three of his daughters - Molly, Katy, and Maggie. Molly is twelve years old when fifteen-year-old Constantine (Connie) McBride brings Papa and the brothers to her. However, Mama and three other sisters are still missing and Connie promises his young friend Molly that he will find the missing family members if it is the last thing he does.

Molly plans to stow away with Connie, Papa, and her brother Jonathan, but God has different plans for her.
