A compelling story about three young men and how their paths cross on a WWII battlefield, poignantly underscored by one of the men’s vision to immortalize his father.

Abstract:
Three young men of very different backgrounds find themselves in an intense battle action during World War II. One is an Indian from a pueblo in New Mexico, one a Japanese-American tuna fisherman off Los Angeles, the other an automobile sit-down striker and union organizer. Before entering the Army, the Indian was horsewhipped by his clan for challenging their culture, the Japanese-American was put in a detention camp in the Southwest desert area with his family and others, and the sit-down striker was severely castigated by his non-union father. Each story is told, leading to the final climactic battle.
