Abstract:
The colorful collections of poetry, fiction and non-fiction shared in these pages are the original works of members of The Literary Arts Forum, a writer’s group based in Sulphur, Oklahoma, in the south-central Arbuckle Mountain region. These insightful, poignant, and often funny illustrations deal with issues from the mundane and simple to the universally complex and perplexing. In the process, we, the members of The Forum, share our very own selves, and in doing so, share a common understanding and acceptance that is of immeasurable comfort during life’s troubling times. Our loads become lighter when we realize that someone, somewhere, has traveled the path before us.
