Abstract:
Up and coming heavyweight boxer, Hank Wilson, is on his way to becoming world champion when he receives and eye injury. Fearing blindness, the boxing commission rescinds his license. A reflex action causes the death of a friend and afraid he will be arrested because his hands are registered as lethal weapons, Hank skips town. Under an assumed name, he works as a waiter while having his eye treated. He finds a sparring partner, a trainer and a manager and continues his training. He learns a witness has cleared him of his friend’s death, and begins his comeback.
