Abstract:
Lou Atkins' upper-class parents moved west, and were killed during a robbery, leaving Lou a 12-year old orphan. His eastern education and demeanor caused him to 'stand-out' in this uncouth western culture. As a rich kid, he had learned street smarts the hard way, but as a greenhorn in the uncustomary west, he had to constantly defend himself. This western braggadocio over the years, forced Lou to resort to the 'gunfight stage' where the survivor earns a reputation, just by staying alive. Lou strives to change his destiny … a move to salvage the rest of his life….
