Abstract:
Four thousand five hundred years ago, a civilization flourished on the banks of the river Indus in Northern India. Its people were resourceful traders and farmers while its culture was rich in the arts and sciences. Yet, it vanished within a millennium, leaving behind scores of unanswered questions.

This is the story of Raia, who grows up in an isolated community of teachers on the fringes of this civilization. She undergoes several trials as she strives to understand her strange powers that will make her a Great Healer. Her passage touches many.
