The Pope has eight conservations with the “MAN”. He is horrified to learn that his religion is in direct contrast to what the “MAN” intended. They visit several other planets to demonstrate what could be.

Abstract:
Pope Leo IX is visited by god. “You have come to earth to save your people.”

The “MAN” replied, “No, I didn’t come to earth to save anyone and where do you get that bit about my people?”

“Didn’t you make man in your own image?”

“I didn’t make man in my image; in fact I find the image of man somewhat repulsive. You obtained your present form by accident and from what I see of man, it was a rather bad accident. I made man for entertainment purposes, because I was bored. I refer to earth as the savage, mean-spirited planet. I made hundreds of planets inhabited by men. They all co-exist and thrive, all except earth, where did I go wrong?”
