Abstract:
After facing a horrible trial and the death of her enemy, Mildred, now fifty-five years old, has come back to her beloved mountains for some peace and soul restoration. But when the son of her former enemy goes after her friends, and offers a million dollar bounty for her head, Mildred has her hands full.

With the help of a new man she meets in the mountains, she is soon fighting again. From old enemies, to pedophiles and skinheads, to the mountain weather, Mildred must fight them all. Does she also fight falling in love? And what about Mitch?
