Abstract:
A tragic automobile accident claims the lives of Jane’s parents. A minor with no living relatives, she is placed in the county orphanage. An adjacent, major thoroughbred farm affords Jane an introduction to the racing world. A natural talent for riding is revealed; she is found to have a calming affect on, and an almost ethereal connection with the usually high strung stallions. After her ‘chats’ with exercise mounts become known, the farms’ owners and head trainer assist her in acquiring a jockey license. Ride with Jane as she races into history with Destiny.
