Abstract:
Jesus gave New Testament status to the Ten Commandments and other laws of God during his period of teaching on Earth. Jesus also gave us a prayer, called Our Lord’s Prayer. The commandments and the prayer are recorded twice in the Bible, indicating they are both important to Christians. The Lord’s Prayer, has ten statements, which are similar to statements in the commandments and repeat, emphasize, and help explain the commandments. “Our Father’s Commandments” describes the relationship of the Ten Commandments with the Lord’s Prayer and analyzes the commandments and the prayer, showing their importance for people today.
