Many years ago in the land of the Iroquois, a brave Mohawk sets out to the land of the Cherokee on a trek of maturity.

Abstract:
Many years ago, long before the white man arrived, a Mohawk brave, Ayawentha, son of Kateri, makes a trek-of-maturity. He travels down the Hudson, the Atlantic seaboard and deep into the hills to the land of the Cherokee. There he meets his beloved. They marry and return to Mohawk country, having many adventures along the way. The Little People watch over them and the angelic Nymphs of Risceal give them a divine mission. It is revealed to them that they will have a holy descendant who will be known as The Lily of the Mohawk.

The Wayfarer gave me a sense as if I was with the traveller seeking his adventure and knowledge of his heritage. It is truly a good book to read and highly recommended for others to read.

A beautiful book describing how the Indians thrived in the world of nature. Before the white man came the Indians in the Authors story lived in harmony with the animals and the forest. You must read it if you like nature.
