Abstract:
This is a love story without a kiss. Jill is sixteen when she falls prey to an overpowering love affair; it wounds her deeply and forces her to leave home. Now, forty years later, heartfelt and rewarding love returns. But before it does, Jill struggles to survive as a vagrant on the harrowing streets of New York City.

Jill is destitute and alone when an accident brings about a profound change. A young priest, a prominent old man, and a devoted female friend are instrumental in transforming Jill’s life. In return, Jill’s revealed past dramatically enhances their lives.

I really enjoyed this book. And so did my friend. I was born in New York City and lived in Brooklyn before moving to South Amboy. The author described a New York City as I remember it. An excellent read.....I recommend it. A 5 Star!
