This is a great book Because I can get the feel of what life was like in philly back in the 50's . You would think that in the 50's is was peacful and no one had to worry about anything but that only happened if you didn't get involved for the wrong people. I love this book I rate it a 5 and hope more people read it . I'm 17 years old and live in philly so i know what philadelphia is like and to read about it you can learn more about the history and the italians in the 50's .

WOW, what a page turner! This book should be on every bookshelf. The author does a great job of holding you captive until the scene unfolds. Each character is brought to life almost as if they are performing on a stage in front of you. It must be real, because I grew up the streets of New York and experienced much of what I read. Good job, Mr. Trangata or should I say "Buon Fortuna!"

This story reads like a fast-moving film, with lots of action and emotion. What topped it off for me was the hilarious events that happen along the way, with a sweet boy trying to explain himself to a school counselor, to mafia mobsters being totally confused by stuff they have no clue how to deal with. Just so entertaining in all!
