Abstract:
A More Perfect Union is the story of America’s rise to superpower status, its little-known behind-the-curtain international dealings, and the impact of those dealings upon the world today. It is the story of one man’s desire to balance the pain and personal experiences of his youth, with the idealism of military service and society in general. It is a story that reveals how what we believe, what we are taught to believe, and what the truth is are sometimes totally different things. Finally, A More Perfect Union is the story of a journey from Socialization to Realization. It is a journey we all must take.

A very personal and profound journey through the life of a very accomplished military professional who challenged himself to face the realities of inner-city life, the way out, the rewards of dedication to his country, but most importantly the gift of self-education about the realities of the human condition, the foundation this country was built upon, US foreign policy, and accontabilities each of us must assume to create "A More Perfect Union". This is a very critical read to help us all understand the current climate for US military personnel and calls on each citizen to act, to assure we preserve our country and our rights under the Consititution of the United States. Amazingly, this author created what I call a 'Soup to Nuts' volume of US history that is a gift to all of us who have been hoping someone would pull it all together into one consice, fact-based volume that puts it ALL into perspective! It will make you laugh, cry, and think, and think, and think, and think.......
Thank you Mr. Hargraves, Well Done!
