I recently read Crystal and Her Family in just two days. Every time I started a new chapter, I would find myself saying, "I'm going to stop after I finish this chapter," but I couldn't stop reading. I had to find out what was going to happen next. I don't want to give away any plot twists, but I found the book kept elevating to the next level of suspense. The tension kept building as the story went on, making it difficult to stop reading at ANY point. Not only is the story unrelenting, but it also makes the reader feel uncomfortable being in the main character's mind. It challanges the reader's own emotions and morals by examining an avid adulterer's actions and explicit sexual experiences. This is a fiction thriller at its best. Do not miss this one!

This book is awesome. I have to say that I read a lot but get bored very easily. Many books don't keep my attention due to the poor writing and no-thrill factor. This suspenseful book kept me reading chapters at a time. I would easily recommend it to others looking for a book that has great writing, as well as twists and turns to keep you in suspense and shock! At times, it is really weird to know what Simon is thinking. Makes me wonder what people are really walking around thinking! Enjoy this book and pass on to others

Crystal and her Family will make readers hearts pound in their chest. It is a page turning suspenseful, bone-chilling story. Jones has an amazing talent at getting into his characters minds and sharing their deep, personal thoughts and the complexity of their emotions. It is a brilliantly written & entertaining story. Out of curiosity of local talent, I picked up a copy of this book at a street fair in the authors home town. Once I finally started reading it, I had a hard time putting it down. Jones is an extremely talented young writer who is sure to go far in his career. I am looking forward to future books!

Crystal and Her Family is definitely a non-stop thrill ride. It is completely unpredictable, a rare find among today's novels. What a great insight into this outwardly "normal" family man's mind. I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone who is not a feign of heart. The author has a unique talent for putting you in the character's mind and getting you to root for an unlikely subject.
