Abstract:
Stefan’s odyssey is the search for freedom from the hideous realities of his childhood and the bonds of love with his beloved grandfather’s inculcating teachings of Marxism.

In the time of America’s fall from power and promise through the Depression, the time of War uniting Communists and Capitalists in this net of unity, Stefan is declared unfit to serve the country he was schooled to rescue from the evil Pipskiwas of Wall Street.

In this setting, with the death of his grandfather, Mentor and love of his life, Stefan seeks to find freedom for his own ideals, the life of a painter.
