Abstract:
The View Inside hopes to portray an honest account of what is like being in prison, and my observations of how the system fails the prisoners and society. We must understand that the department of corrections is a big industry in each state. States are not served by reducing the prison population. Society pays the price to keep the prisons open, but more important than the money spent is the innocent lives lost or traumatized every day by criminals on the streets.
