Have you ever wondered about what life is like in prison, and if all the stories you have heard are true? I hope to depict how the system operates and the flaws that lead to recidivism and ultimately problems in our society.

Abstract:
The View Inside hopes to portray an honest account of what is like being in prison, and my observations of how the system fails the prisoners and society. We must understand that the department of corrections is a big industry in each state. States are not served by reducing the prison population. Society pays the price to keep the prisons open, but more important than the money spent is the innocent lives lost or traumatized every day by criminals on the streets.

Buy sharing my experience, observations, and 1:1 interactions with the inmates I’ll show you many common threads that got them to prison, and things our society must do to change for the good of all.
