Abstract:
Alaska Stories: A Memoir is the travel log of romance, adventure and spiritual quest of Margret Riddle. At forty-five, Margret knows there is more to life than stagnation and death. Leaving family and friends she moves to Anchorage to work as an occupational therapist. Thwarted in her desire for marriage and career advancement, Margret falls back on her love of boating and the natural beauty of Alaska to discover her essential worth as a human being. Just when she learns to value herself as a single woman, life takes another turn and dreams become reality.
