Abstract:
In the early 1930’s, Germany was floundering the middle of the Great Depression. No-confidence elections were being held almost every six months. Now the small Nazi Party, with promises of restoring the economy and stamping out crime, have had their leader named Chancellor The story follows the reactions of two neighbor families, the Rosen’s and the Bauer’s, as the nation surges back to recovery and new-found strength. But soon it becomes apparent what the Nazis expect in return. This is a story of love, hope, friendship and survival amidst a landscape of ever-changing scenes.
