Abstract:
Lois: The Questing Woman is an edited version of the diaries of Lois Reed Hartley Naas, 1908-2004. For over 60 years she wrote about her marriage, her highs and lows, her attempts to discern the meaning of life, along with comments on contemporary world events. Living in Muncie, Indiana, for the first two-thirds of her life, Lois had an independent spirit and a strong desire to be a writer, but felt confined by a traditional marriage. Readers will laugh with Lois, cry with Lois, talk back to Lois, but end the book with a new friend.
