Professor Grimes couldn’t kill, so he had served as a medic in Viet Nam. Now terrorists controlled the airliner. If Grimes didn’t kill the terrorists, his entire family would die.

Abstract:
Professor Grimes and his family plan a trip to Rome. A group of young Iraqis and an Arabic New York taxi driver, intent on revenge for the U.S. invasion of Iraq, meet at JFK to take over an airliner to fly it into the capitol building while the President is giving the state of the union address, thereby killing the president and most congressmen, senators and supreme-court justices. The terrorists take over the plane on which the professor and his family are riding. Professor Grimes must choose between his belief in non-violence and his need to save his family.

A gripping look inside the terrifying world of international terrorism and agricultural engineers. In this debut thriller, Goering takes us along for an incredible roller-coaster ride--or should that be a Boeing 747-200 airplane ride?--that will leave you gasping for more. Iraqi terrorists! A president in the firing line! An engineering professor dating a student! Will the mild-mannered and peace-loving Jake Grimes allow the terrorists to kill the president, and dozens of congressmen, senators and supreme-court justices by sticking to his non-violent philosophy or will he become a terrorist-killing, all American hero?
