Abstract:
Southwest Adventures, the third in the 5-book “Maverick Series” concentrates on our RV travels in the Southwest, mainly in Arizona. Although we have visited many well known places, our drives, bike rides, and hikes often seek out the lesser known “sights and sites.” Our explorations have led us to ancient Indian camps and petroglyph sites, hidden springs, ghost towns, abandoned mine sites and cemeteries. We have also hiked many scenic trails in the mountains and canyons. Some of the remote sites are known to some; however, we have come across many unusual things that simply remain a mystery.
