This book is a very easy read and extremely informative. A person dealing with a family member or someone close to them dying would really benefit from reading this book. Ms. Swift is very knowledgable on the subject and provides readers with information that is otherwise difficult to obtain.

The fear and uncertainty I was facing when told of my Mother's terminal cancer was overwhelming. I had never experienced the death of someone close to me. I didn't know what to expect or what to do. A friend shared this book with me before it was officially published. The peace I recieved from reading it and the education regarding the dying process changed my life and my attitude towards it. I am thankful someone cared enough to share this book with me. It is truly a blessing.

When my mother was close to death, Cynthia shared an unpublished rough draft of this book with us. It was the most helpful thing anyone did during the entire summer as we struggled with decisions, emotions, medical issues and the trauma that my mom was experiencing. My 6 siblings each had the chance to read it and it helped us understand not only what was happening to out mother, but how to deal better with each other and other relatives and friends. The Whisper made this traumatic and challenging life experience a more beautiful one. This book is a must read for anyone who is going through the "dying process" with a loved one. It is straightforward and direct, while maintaining empathy, compassion and a good understanding of our humanness. Do not be afraid to be educated on these issues. Thank you Cynthia for following through with the publication. It was truly a blessing for me. You are an angel.

I am not the best reader in the world, so I tend to avoid books. This book was very easy to read and understand. It was a great help and comfort to me during a difficult time. The author wrote it from her heart and I believe she had a true connection with each person she cared for. Everyone should read this book.
