This was an excellent book. I purchased it for my 16 year old son, and he read it in just a few days. He loved it so much, he convinced me to read it. The book has a great message, but doesn't stray far from reality. I would recommend this book to teens specifically, but others could certainly enjoy it too.

Just what teens need to hear. Somewhat graphic in parts, but very interesting. A good read.

I simply want to say how much this book has changed my life. I was struggling to find a purpose in my life until I read this book. Mr. Tuminaro must be a man of so many values, because the way that he pressed through his troubles has inspired me to do the same. I wish that I could meet such an incredible man, and maybe one day, I will get the chance to touch it. -Joe

I work in a high school that is located in the county where this story took place. The students I work with hate to read and are reading below grade level. Finding material that interests them is very difficult. I love this book, everytime I introduce it to a student they end up enjoying it and going on to read other books. The students have been able to make connections with the text. They always ask me for another book of his to read. Give them more Adam!
