Abstract:
The Christian fundamentalists are trying to impose their values on all of America. Resisting them issue by issue (stem cell research, abortion rights, gay rights, women’s rights, teaching evolution, environmental protection, prayer in school, etc.) is not enough. We must attack their underlying beliefs by pointing out the irrational and cruel nature of their right-wing religion. This short powerful essay lists 12 basic reasons fundamentalists are misguided, unreasonable and malicious. No decent, intelligent person can read this book and remain a fundamentalist. Read it yourself and cheer. Then, give copies to your fundamentalist relatives and associates.
