  A Roaring, Rousing Tale , 05/07/2007
Reviewer: WALT WOOD
This rousing tale of pirates in the Caribbean several hundred years ago is a can't-put-it-down book! The author leads the reader on a thrilling adventure, filled with traps and pitfalls. The story brings us right into the action - sailing the ships, brandishing the swords, planning and plotting. There is much description and detail of the sea and the seamen, of weather, and sailing jargon. One catches his breath reading of the narrow escapes and the nick-of-time fortunes and misfortunes. The final chapter outcome fits the overall tenor of the story.
