Abstract:
Robert will marry a gorgeous nurse with an unusual phobia after she divorces a doctor. Ruth marries men who charm her. Robert’s problem is keeping her. Robert, a Lockheed foreman, is drafted to make maps for the invasion. He is held incommunicable aboard a captured German ship. Ruth thinks he was killed and is with another doctor. Robert wins her back and they marry and have a daughter. Ruth becomes ill, blames him and goes home to mother. She won’t talk to him and wants a divorce to marry an attorney. Robert knows she’s confused and schemes to win her back.
