Abstract:
The author, a veteran arson/explosives investigator of the Glendale (CA) Fire and Police Departments, is now frequently referred to as “…the most prolific serial arsonist of the 20th century.” In Points of Truth he describes his formative years in 1950-60s Lost Angeles, his highly successful career, wrongful arrest, conviction, and incarceration since 1992. Revealed for the first time in this fast-paced text are examples of troubling prosecutorial misconduct of concealing vital evidence, prior to trial, that now proves crucial to Mr. Orr’s defense. Also disclosed is the existence of physical evidence that can exonerate the author and DNA proof now feared destroyed.
