Abstract:
A New York baseball scout, Marty Stein, sees Palestinian youths hurl rocks at Israeli soldiers on television news. Noting the accuracy of the throws and the distance they cover, he hits on an idea to bring these young men into the mainstream of professional baseball.

In spite of dire warnings, this Jewish scout proceeds with his plan. Problems arise almost immediately as Marty puts his heart into his endeavor. As more problems arise, the world watches as international television and reporters flock to this new and dangerous human interest story.
