Abstract:
Not Just Mustard and Ketchup / No Solo Mostaza y Salsa de Tomate is a bilingual children's cookbook consisting of easy-to-make recipes for children aged between seven and ten years of age. It is an opportunity for children to develop an interest in cooking and learn to be independent and creative in their endeavors. The cookbook is also intended to foster an interest in learning another language as the cookbook is written is English and Spanish. With the recipes laid out in a spread format, comparing English and Spanish becomes easy for both children and the adults that accompany them in the kitchen.
