Getting that Job in the Motion Picture, Cable and Television Industry (and what the jobs are) is a realistic career guide for newcomers. The first part is filled with advice and vignettes to show how “the business works” and how to get that first job.

The second half contains an extensive jobs list. For instance, do you know what a best boy, gaffer and DP do? Do you know the one sentence not to say at an industry party?
