Abstract:
It’s 1941 – war has started, big bands and the jitterbug are in full swing. Four girlfriends who meet up for a new year’s eve party at the Copley Plaza hotel in Boston find it isn’t their typical “girls night out.” Penny, the vocalist, in love with the bandleader, is hiding something. Allie, who desperately wants to be a reporter, finds her first major scoop when they find themselves in the midst of art theft, murder, irate mobsters and a missing girl. Together with Sophie and Carrie, the girls face the scary, but fun-filled night.
