Abstract:
This adventure of a young boy and his friends takes place in the small town of Bowling Green, Kentucky, during the years of World War II. The town and surrounding country-side during the 1940’s were just the place for Butch and his friends to roam; but the deep, dark woods at the edge of town soon beckoned them to solve the mystery of Collett Woods. This book is a sequel to Kicking Rocks in Bowling Green which describes the adventures of Butch and his friends during the 1930’s. Stories told by the author are humorous, heartwarming, entertaining reading for those who like to know or reminisce about the good-old-days.
